Where to start...what we need to stop.

In today's world we are pressured with how to be the most popular, how to be the best in a sport, how to have more money, how to attract love, and how to live the dream. But if we haven't grown up with the Bible in our lives, and or if the Bible was used as a weapon of Religious restrictions - we don't know where to start...what we need to stop.

We may think, "Ill deal with God later," or "I'm not ready to talk to God because of all that I have been through." But as the days tick on, we get closer to the times when the Bible tells us that Yahweh will pour our His spirit on all flesh, sons and daughters will prophesy, young men will see visions, old men will dream dreams. He will show wonders in the heavens and signs on the earth, blood, fire and vapor of smoke, the sun will turn to darkness, and and the moon to blood, before the day of Yahweh comes, the great and magnificent day. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of YAHWEH SHALL BE SAVED." - (from Acts 2)

So how do you "call upon the name of YAHWEH?!" Well let's just say, if HE doesn't know YOU, He may not answer that call!! Pretty surprising huh?! The fear of Yahweh, (the respect and reverence towards Him, the submission to Him knowing more than us, and the willingness to live our lives according to the perfect Way that He has ordained in His Word, the Bible) that all begins with Wisdom. When we reject WISDOM or think that we don't need to seek it out, we set ourselves up for failure, we reject a relationship with Creator Yahweh, and we put ourselves in the position to NOT BE HEARD, WHEN WE CALL UPON THE NAME OF YAHWEH TO BE SAVED!!

Wisdom cries aloud in the street,

in the markets she raises her voice;

21 at the head of the noisy streets she cries out;

at the entrance of the city gates she speaks:

22 “How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple?

How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing

and fools hate knowledge?

23 If you turn at my reproof,[a]

behold, I will pour out my spirit to you;

I will make my words known to you.

24 Because I have called and you refused to listen,

have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded,

25 because you have ignored all my counsel

and would have none of my reproof,

26 I also will laugh at your calamity;

I will mock when terror strikes you,

27 when terror strikes you like a storm

and your calamity comes like a whirlwind,

when distress and anguish come upon you.

28 Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer;

they will seek me diligently but will not find me.

29 Because they hated knowledge

and did not choose the fear of YHVH,

30 would have none of my counsel

and despised all my reproof,

31 therefore they shall eat the fruit of their way,

and have their fill of their own devices.

32 For the simple are killed by their turning away,

and the complacency of fools destroys them;

33 but whoever listens to me will dwell secure

and will be at ease, without dread of disaster.

-Proverbs 1

So when you make that call, do you want God to answer you? Better make sure that you are SEEKING WISDOM NOW - WISDOM will be the key to surviving in the last days, enduring to the end to be saved, and calling upon the Name of YAHWEH. And the fear of YAHWEH begins with WISDOM. The only place to find WISDOM is in the Bible.

Where to start....what we need to stop..?... We need to stop thinking we have time, or this isn't a pressing issue. If we need to CALL UPON THE NAME OF YAHWEH sooner than we expected, we need to have a healthy, loving, mutual relationship with our Creator that starts with surrender, repentance, stop sinning, read the Bible, and make it our daily prayer to seek out wisdom, "so we can dwell secure, be at ease and without dread of disaster." Because despite what earthly circumstances happen to us, we have the assurance of Him answering our call!

But THERE IS HOPE! Being "His People", living according to His loving Way that He has instructed us to live according to the Bible, guarantees us that HE WILL HEAR AND ANSWER US WHEN WE CALL!!

14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.
